Biography
Dr Han Kim completed his radiation oncology training at Auckland City Hospital and pursued his fellowship at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where he expanded his knowledge and experience in palliative radiation and oligometastatic radiotherapy. He won a scholarship for Canadian Winter School on Quality and Safety in Radiation Oncology with his project during his fellowship.
He is an established radiation physician and oncologist in Wellington region and offers consultations either in person or remotely using various telehealth options. He is experienced in SABR/SBRT and specialises in genitourinary (prostate including SBRT, bladder), breast, head and neck, and skin cancers. He also treats patients with benign conditions such as Dupuytren’s contracture, Ledderhose disease, and keloids.
Alongside his practice at Bowen, Dr Kim currently works as a senior clinical lecturer for Otago Medical School and chairs the Head and Neck Cancer multidisciplinary meeting in Wellington Hospital.
