Multilingual cancer resources
Every patient and their whānau should feel informed and supported throughout their time with us, regardless of language or background. Receiving a cancer diagnosis and understanding your treatment can be overwhelming. Access to clear, culturally sensitive information in your preferred language can make all the difference.
Below are links to trusted New Zealand organisations and support services that provide translated cancer information and support materials in a range of languages.
Need more help?
We’re here to help make cancer care as accessible and supportive as possible, for everyone.
If you would prefer to speak to someone in your own language, please let your care team know. Interpreter support can be arranged for healthcare appointments and many health services in Aotearoa New Zealand provide free interpreting services for eligible patients.
Call Healthline on 0800 611 116 or visit their website for more information about their interpreter services.
If you are a current Icon patient, please speak with your care team about interpreter services and further resources available through your local centre.
