Every patient and their whānau should feel informed and supported throughout their time with us, regardless of language or background. Receiving a cancer diagnosis and understanding your treatment can be overwhelming. If you would prefer to speak to someone in your own language, please let your care team know. Interpreter support can be arranged for healthcare appointments and many health services in Aotearoa New Zealand provide free interpreting services for eligible patients.
